Position Summary:

The Senior Business Management Analyst will be assisting with product development and coordinating product launch. Also, to lead the development of an innovative portfolio that will drive revenue growth. You must also act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in business expertise and industry insight.

Responsibilities:

Define high priority target markets and products required to meet their needs
Develop product or service business plans that include product definition/requirements, pricing strategy, routes to market, marketing strategy and plan, positioning against other products and competitors, regulatory assessment and plan, and complete financial P&L for the offering
Work with other functional executives to gain support for the business plan
Lead the business plan through the appropriate approval processes
Collaborate with business and product analysts throughout the product development process
Provide support to Customer Group. Support sales and account managers by attending customer meetings and calls as needed. The annual plan establishes sales priorities for customers and products
Collaborate with Product Managers or VPs to contribute during the "launch" phase to translate the business plan into the Go to Market approach, including marketing materials and sales forecasts and tools.
Define and manage key levers to influence P&L outcomes and communicate them to internal business partners in marketing, account management, sales and operations
Track and monitor progress against P&L targets and recommend and implement changes needed to stay on course
Establish and maintain overall scorecard metrics and track progress and success on a regular basis
Responsible for business level innovation (e.g., new products to be developed for general availability, product line extensions)

Qualifications:

Basic Requirements:

Bachelor's degree
3 + years' of experience in healthcare or a field related to the business (data networks, transaction processing systems or information products)
3 + years' of experience assessing market and customer needs for information products to determine the market value proposition
2 + years' of experience analyzing a product or program P&L, including demonstrated experience in hypothesis-driven data analysis and quantitative modeling
2 + years' of experience using advanced functions in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio) skills
2 + years' of experience in research, e.g. demonstrated experience in market sizing and industry analysis, etc.

Preferred:

MBA or master's degree in a related business or healthcare field
Experience in formulating and executing a business plan
Ability to represent the business in the market as a thought leader, representative of Surescripts as a whole and for the business, and in sales and market development activities
3+ years of experience in business or product management
Experience managing marketing and sales channels
Ability to manage multiple, complex projects simultaneously
