Our company, Sonetics, is a successful and dynamic company that provides innovative solutions for challenging team communication environments. We are currently seeking a Production Lead to join our Assembly team focused on delivering superior quality products to our customers.

In this role, you will participate as an Assembler on the production team, following detailed assembly instructions, processes and procedures. In addition, you will lead the Production team to ensure resources and production line set-up are optimized for efficiency. You will work with the Production Scheduler to ensure customer demand and production schedules are met, and will have close cooperation with other teams including Engineering, Production Scheduler, and Materials/Warehouse to resolve production issues. In addition, you will:

act as service/engineering liaison to resolve product and quality issues
identify and support continuous improvement efforts
follow documented policies and procedures as designated by the company's Quality System
complete required documentation relating to business or regulatory requirements
maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions
initiate process improvements to reduce costs, and improve quality

As a Production Lead, you are a strong communicator, both verbal and written, excel at problem solving, and are driven by deadline and quality standards. You are a team player who is focused on finding solutions, and take initiative. You thrive on identifying and implementing process improvements and increase efficiencies. You are able to adapt and respond to fast changing priorities. Your experience includes:

High school diploma and 3+ years of electronic assembly experience in a manufacturing environment, or equal combination of education and experience.
Excellent through hole and surface mount soldering skills required
Good manual dexterity required
Prior experience leading and organizing production/assembly teams preferred
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, Outlook, ERP/planning systems
