Item: Bronze statue of three musical putti cherubs signed by Prof A. Petrilli (Firenze) Italy. (24"H x 28.5" W x 12" D) (This work appears to be a commissioned bronze casting of an original marble sculpture.)

Prof. Aristide Petrilli (b. 1868 - 1907) (Italian, 19th Century) white marble sculptor. Petrilli studied in Florence at the Accademia di Belle Arti. He exhibited at the Paris 1900 Exposition Universelle and, like Caradossi and Frilli, he specialized in depicting celestial and ethereal maidens.

Back in 1994 or so I had taken it to the PBS/Chubb Antique Roadshow that was filming here in Atlanta at the Galleria. It was appraised at that time for $14,500. Similar items of quality and character today appraise for ~$19,500. I am attaching a couple of photos, not my best, but if interested I will be attempting to make better shots this week.
