As a Customer Service and Support Representative you will learn about our software products and how our clients use these solutions to increase their productivity. The position also provides an opportunity to grow into other technical positions including Implementations, Training, and Senior Support.
PathGuide Technologies, Inc., a privately held company founded in 1989, is a leading provider of warehouse automation solutions for wholesale and industrial distributors accross North America. PathGuide's software and services help suppliers increase productivity and order accuracy, improve customer service and lower labor costs, ultimately driving greater profitability. We work closely with our clients to develop those procedures and systems wich fit their buisness needs. We provide consulting, software, hardware, and complete system integration services.
Our customer support representatives provide customer education, troubleshooting, and problem solving for PathGuide products. Members of our customer support team are self-motivated and have good communication, technical, and analytical skills. The ability to listen, interpret, and then document issues in a clear and effective manner is a must. Each member is a genuine "people person" and has a freindly, confident, and professional demeanor.
Qualifications and Experience
Prefer 3+ years experience, but will consider recent graduates with 2 or 4 year technical degrees. Excellent candidates will have a working knowlege of one or more of the following: Microsoft Windows operating systems, Internet Explorer and Web based applications, Internet infomation Services (IIS), local and wide area networks, RF (radio-frequency) based communications, Crystal Reports, Microsoft SQL server and databases, SQL (structured query language and basic queries), VPN (virtual private networking), remote desktop connections, and other remote connection software.
