Sadie is an Akita. She is about 80-85lbs and is just a big, lovable girl. She is protective though, meaning she will bark if a stranger comes to the door. Otherwise she is not a barker (say if someone was just walking by or biking by she will not go nuts and bark constantly). She is house trained and kennel trained. She LOVES her toys and of course loves getting new ones. However, she can't keep very many toys "together" for more than 10 min. She just chews right through them. She is VERY kid freindly. I have 3 very littel ones and they can do whatever they want and she won't fight back. My 1 year old will even "take" her bone away form her and Sadie will just look at him and wait untill he puts it down or untill his hand is not "in the way". (She doesn't bite and will take care not to with the kids). If the adults play "rough" with her she might have a littel play nibble but nothing that is agressive.
She is about 2 years old and UTD on shots as well as "fixed". She would do well with someone who has a fenced in yard or at least with a tie-out.
I do have lots more to tell about her so if you are interested please send me an email with whatever questions you might have for me and I will do best to answer them in as much detail as I can.
We are finding a new home for her because we are going to welcome another baby into our home and we don't have the room anymore or the attention that she needs. She comes with papers, treats, kennel, dog dishes, whatever food we have left (wich right now is a full bag), we also have a "food holder", toys, leash, tie-out and her brush. Looking for a re-homing fee of $150. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have about her, I am an open-book and will answer them the best I can.
And just to clarify with the pictures, she does NOT jump on furniture. This has only happend when I take out the vacuum. She is so very scared of them. So we usually put her outside or in her kennel when we have to do so.
