Hi, I'm a 24yr-old married Costume designer and Creative. I'm newer to the Bay Area, finding my groove again, and I had this great idea:

I'm looking for a "studio" space to set up my small sewing shop. I have all my creative stuff in storage collecting dust, because I can't set it up in our small apartment, and it's driving me crazy. If you have a garage with power, a basement with a walk out door, or something to that effect, I would love to work there!

Before I go on, I just want to clarify (since this is PandaHi). I'm drug, smoke, alcohol-before-5pm free. I'm a church going, family loving, adventurous Polish-French girl who was born in Costa Rica yet can't speak spanish. I married my high-school sweet heart, and am the oldest of seven fabulous siblings.
And my passion is designing and sewing.

Now! You can utilize my skills as payment for your space! I can:
Do basic to moderate alterations and mending - ex: hems, sleeves, straps, and broken teddy bears.
Construct almost anything out of fabric. - like tents and tutus.
I can also bake and cook. - I specialize in cheesecakes.
I babysit. - but we would have to become very well acquainted, I suppose, before any of that.
Water plants, and pet sit! - I love gardening and kittys!
I can also plan parties, draw, reach high things, read story books with different voices per character, decorate interiors, and fold laundry very nicely.

Seriously though, I just want somewhere to safely work at my sewing and somewhere I can keep my creative process in motion. I am clean and tidy so I would like a space that's also pretty clean and tidy. I don't have a car, so it would be nice if you were biking distance form downtown University Ave. in Palo Alto. I live right over the border in Menlo Park.

Email with "design space" in subject box to sort out the spammers!

*no creepers and no single men, thanks!*
