I purchased this oil painting at an estate sale in North Branch, MN over 15 years ago. It is a very well executed rendition of the iconic oil on canvas painting by Victor Kowalski entitled "The Lone Wolf",
unfortunatly Victor Wierusz-Kowalski perished in 1915, before the Lone Wolf reproductions became so popular in German and American markets during the 1920's..

The oil painting including the frame measures 21" x 10.5". The painting itself is in excellent condition, showing no chipping, flaking or discoloration and it is still in the frame I purchased it in. Please note that the odd yellow tone in the picture included with this posting do not exist in the painting. I took the photos at night and after several attempts to get a picture without the odd yellow hue I gave up.
