This is an exceptional Magnavox Astro-Sonic 100 Series Console Stereo Model 2-ST686, a top-of-the-line* model for 1964. Beautiful French Provincial styling in a fruitwood finish. All solid wood and wood veneer cabinet - no fake plastic panels. It is in 100% working condition, and sounds great! Awesome bass response. All controls have been cleaned and are static-free. The Micromatic record changer has had the motor disassembled, cleaned, and oiled; fresh grease applied to the changer mechanism. Original price in 1964: $595. ($4136.86 in today's dollars!) Asking $150. You've got to hear the amazing quality!

* Solid-State, 50 watts per channel output (by 1964 standards)

* Stereo FM and Monaural FM/AM radio with automatic frequency control with seperate Squelch control.

* Micromatic Record Player has a high-compliance ceramic pick-up that tracks at a mere 1/10th ounce.

* Connections for additional Remote Speaker Systems, tape recorder, outside antenna. It has hidden *internal* RCA connections on the tuner chassis for a Tape Deck, CD player, or iPod.

* Two 1,000 cycle Exponential Treble Horns, plus two Super-Sonic 15" Bass Woofers with 48 ounce magnets. The heavy acoustical cabinet features gliding top panels wich provide most convenient access to the Micromatic Record Player, Radio, and all controls.

* Cabinet is 60" long, 19" deep, and 30" high in hand-rubbed Fruitwood finish.
