Law firm with an office in Roswell and John's Creek is seeking a closing paralegal.

The ideal candidate must have a minimum 3 years of real estate closing experience with a law firm and/or a title/escrow company. The ideal candidate will preferably live within 15 miles of Roswell or John's Creek. Must be professional, be able to multi-task, be detail-oriented, as well as be able to positively interact with clients.

Paralegal will be responsible for closing duties including preparation and maintenance of closing checklists, preparation of HUD-1 statements, obtaining payoffs, assisting with closings, receipt and disbursement of funds, preparation of lender documents, recordation of security instruments, distribution of closing documents, and ability to read and interpret owner's and lender's policies. Duties will also include handling real estate issues or problems while providing exceptional customer service.

knowlege of Commercial Real Estate and Short Sales is a plus.

Since we are a small office, the paralegal will need to be willing to pitch in and handle whatever needs to get done. You should also be comfortable working alone and handling phone calls or client issues when the attorney is out of the office or in meetings.
