I am selling an Imperivm Neptvni Regis certificate form 1943! It is in good condition and framed. There is a lot of history here. Elvis H. Clark was awarded this certifcate for crossing the equator while serving the USCG on the USS LST 166. The ship was decomissioned in and dismantled for metal in 1947. for a picture you may message me at 501**837**6319. asking $75 obo. The certificate reads :
To all sailors whereever ye may be: and to all mermaids, whales, sea serpents, porpoises, sharks, dolphins, eels, skates, suckers, crabs, lobsters, and all other living things of the sea Greeting: know ye: that on this 28th day of june 1943 in latitude 00000 and longitude of 100'20' there appeared within our royal domain the USS LST 166 bound south for the equator and for BoraBora Society Islands. Be it remebered that the vessel and officers and crew there of have been inspected and passed on by ourself and our royal staff. And be it known: by all ye sailors, marines, land lubbers and others who may be honored by his presence that elvis h. clark having been found worthy to be numbered as one of our trusty shellbacks he has been duly initiated into the solemn mysteries of the ancient order of the deep Be it understood: That by virtue of the power invested in me I do hereby command all my subjects to show due honor and respect to him whereever he may be. Disobey this oreder under penalty of our royal displeasure. Given under our hand and seal this 28th day of July, 1943.
