There are many missing and lost pets and I'd like to help.
It makes it tougher when the subject line (Posting Title) only says MAGGIE MAY IS MISSING or HELP FIND BIG MIKE- WE MISS HIM or even LOST DOG...
So, please, please, please help us help you!!
It will increase your chances of finding your beloved pet if you post something like this directly in the subject line (Posting Title):
LOST DOG MALE LG BLACK LAB RED COLLAR - MAGGIE
LOST DOG F SMALL BLACK TERRIER MIX WHITE SPOT ON HEAD
LOST DOG WHITE TOY POODLE FEMALE MISSING SINCE 6/16
LOST DOG MEDIUM WELL FED BROWN-BLACK-WHITE MIX BREED MALE NEUTERED
LOST CAT SHORT HAIR BROWN TABBY WHITE PAWS HAS LIMP (old injury)
Check Animal Control often as strays are put down after ONLY 72 hours!!
Don't assume your micro chip is 100% guarantee as I found a dog a couple years ago and the tech missed the chip. After driving around for hours; luck hit when I found the owner - who said that it DID have a chip. And no, I don't take reward money.
Please, also use for a found dog/cat, too...those folks are looking, too.
You will definately have a better chance IF you post some sort of detail, including the area (more than a zip code) in the header that will help someone that has spotted or picked up a lost pet.
Some people are trying to help, but might give up when having to click on soooo many ads that just say lost dog!
Some people might click on ads, then miss yours as it looks like all the other Lost Dog ads...so you miss the chance when your dog was lucky enough to be found.
Someone might not click on your ad because they think ad MISSING BIG MIKE is a dog name; and could not possibly be the cat that they found. Or even that Big Mike the Dog is actually the tiny toy breed dog that they found.
Thank you for reading.
