Hello everyone!

I'm moving to Pittsburgh form California in August to attend Carnegie Mellon as a composition undergrad, and I'm looking for people who just want to collaborate. I have the beginings of a home studio, tons and tons of software and a behemoth computer to house it all. Maybe something long term will come out of it, maybe we'll be the next Radiohead and I'll drop out of college and we can tour the world, or maybe we'll just compile a random LP and go our seperate ways, or maybe just jam and record a couple times, I'm open to it all. My musical interests are currently centered around creating intresting musical textures and ensembles, acoustic or electronic. I like to listen to EDM like dnb, electro, house, dubstep, and the stuff that is somewhere in the middle but is hard to classify (e.g. Flying Lotus, Noisia) on the condition that they bring something unique and intresting to the table. I like musically brilliant groups like Radiohead and Grizzly Bear and Tool. I like production-heavy projects like Sufjan Stevens and Phoenix. Although I don't listen to it much, I like Jazz and Bebop and the Blues. I like some rap, especially when a bangin' producer is teamed up with a rapper, like Madvillain or DangerDoom to name a couple. I like orchestral stuff provided it's not trite and generic. So if you produce, or play an instrument, or sing, or rap, or even just narrate (ooh that gives me a cool idea: do some kind of spoken word peice with crazy soundscapes all around it) , or drum on tables with your knuckles, and any of that jumps out at you, we should team up and see what happens. I'm currently working with a drummer here to record some live drum dnb, drumstep, hiphop, and such but that's obviously going to end when I leave. I'm realy just looking to form some musical relationships.

Here's my soundcloud, give some of it a listen!
