Development & Program Director
Seeking entrepreneurial and driven individual with at least 3 years experience in campaigns, polical work, public policy, or non-profit management, including strategy and organizing. Experience with fundraising is a major plus. It is possible that the right candidate may not have the depth of experience suggested by these responsibilities but can "grow" into the position.
The Program Director or eexcutive Director will:
Manage program design and implementation of initiatives and events, briefings and conferences.
Grow and maintain awareness of programs and initiatives.
Help grow presence online and in new media. Marketing, publicity, online and new media strategies and public education.Media or PR experience a plus.
Create and execute development and revenue plan to grow organization revenue.Administer membership growth, development and fundraising plans.
Manage office staff and make sure tasks are completed efficiently.
Must have a strong commitment to the organization and its goals, work collaboratively with the Chair and remain responsive to the Board of Directors.
