West Coast EMT Program
Course Description:
This program is designed to give the student the skills and knowlege to function as a working Emergency Medical Technician at the basic level and to facilitate the passing of the National Rejistry Exam. The program is intended for those who want to gain employment as a firefighter, emergency care technician at a hospital and Ambulance driver or attendant. It is also for those individuals who are planning on attempting to obtain a higher level of medical training such as RN, PA or MD as an enhancement for the competitive application process for those professions.
Prerequisite:
Must be at least 18 years of age upon enrollment
Must posses a current American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider card when the course begins
Course Options:
We have 3 options to choose form.
Full Time: Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm , 16 day Program
Evening: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 6pm to 10 pm , 31 Day Program
Weekend: Saturday and Sunday 8 am to 5 pm, 16 day Program

Didactic & Skills 140 Hours
Clinical 12 Hours
Total 152 Hours
