"Home for Christmas" serigraph by great grandson of Grandma Moses. Purchased at Galaria in Shipshewana in 1993 for over $770. Image is 18x24, framed in beautiful cherry wood and double matted, it is 29x34. The frame is not shown in this picture but an additional photograph showing the entire framed peice will be provided upon request.

This serigraph is finished with a deckled or hand torn edge, wich means there is no white border on the image. The image has been pencil signed and numbered on the bottom of the image itself. By using this technique, the graphic can be matted up to the image. Additionally, it is float mounted.

This is named after Bing Crosby's "I'll Be Home For Christmas," wich sums up the painting pretty well. This is a cheery, heartwarming portrayal of travelers arriving and departing the old train depot, trying to make their way home for Christmas day.

With the image incorporating so much color and detail, you are almost certain to find something new every time you look at this beautiful image. A masterful use of color and a delicate yet meticulous use of detail throughout his painting are only part of the reason people enjoy Will Moses art. His work captures the beauty of good hard working people, living ordinary yet adventuresome lives.
