Desperate Student/Former Active Army

I am severely in need of anything under $500 a month, be it a room, or 1br apt, or studio, etc. I am 25 and transitioned out of the army end of May. I will be attending Centriq IT Training in Leawood form July 23 untill December 7, but my lease here in Manhattan ends Jun 30, NEXT WEEKEND! I have been trying and searching and driving all the way out there to be stood up, and I just need a small place for the few items of furniture I have, resulting form my current divorce.

I am clean and organized in an OCD way, respectable, have rented multiple apartments before, and I have a quiet, well mannered and trained cat. The reason I have resorted to posting on PandaHi is I don't currently have the income (3x rent) for the 1BR apts that consequently jack their prices up for a shorter term lease. I will however be getting a part time job to supplement my housing allowance form the Army's GI Bill. I will also be receiving my retirement funds in August and my reenlistment bonus around that time frame, so I am good for the money. I just need a place in my price range for now.

If I can get more than one reasonable reply before JUN 29, I will drive to view the place. If not, I will leave the ad up. I will be out of state for the first two weeks of July to see my brother come in form deployment and sign in to my Army Reserve unit. Upon returning to the area, I will still need a place. At the latest, that will be July 15th.
