THE CASTLE IN GRAND HAVEN

This is going to be a sale you won't want to miss!!! Built in 1926 The Castle is one of Grand Haven's Historic houses! This home is an elegant blend of vintage & modern!

As you walk into the lower level and turn down the hallway to the right, there are two bedrooms. The first is done in a jungle theme with two maple sets of bunk beds with matching dresser and night stand. The next bedroom has an awesome queen bed with some wonderful artwork and décor. The laundry/utility room has some wonderful beach art prints, rugs, large dog kennel, irons and ironing boards, and fun beach décor. In the hallway on the lower level is a 1930's footed cedar blanket chest.

Up the stairs to the second floor is a casual kitchen and family entertainment room. The kitchen is fully stocked with three sets of china form fun Americana to some vintage Homar Laughlin, and Murano Vetreria Artistica Obal Vase (signed by the artist). There is a Foosball table, a RC home theatre system with a 62" television), a black leather Italsofa, two modern extremely comfy black chairs, a glass flat screen tv stand, a glass guitar pick shaped glass top breakfast table (pub style) with six bar-stools, and tons of fun decorating items. There are glass top tables in the dining room, a vintage wrought iron mirror over the fireplace, an awesome small antique dinner bell, and some nice pictures and other wrought iron peices. The bedroom off the dining room is stocked with baby items. (Three pack-n-plays, toddler bed side-rails, assorted toys, tons of Beanie babies, a wonderful overstuffed red arm chair, a white French provincial desk with chair, a rocking horse for babies, baby sling, potty chairs, and so much more. The hallway past that bedroom is the library area stocked with books, great tables, pictures and décor. Off that hall (or the dining room) is another bedroom with an awesome vintage Drexel Heritage bedroom suite. Down the next hall past the bookshelves is another set of stairs going down to the lower wing and an awesome bedroom. This room has a Pennsylvania House Chippendale style bedroom suite. The bed is a King four poster, it also has a nice futon couch with a coffee table, great lamps, and two French Provincial desks with chairs.

form the kitchen are the stairs leading up to the third floor. The top of the stairs empties out into the great room. There is an awesome vintage round leather top antique dining room table (Maitland-Smith) with eight upholstered chairs, a pair of telescopes (Bushnell Harbor Master and Telestar), some great hand tufted area rugs, a neat oak pub-style breakfast table with four stools, an absolutely awesome huge ornate vintage mirror, intresting glass and pottery, great pictures and tons more! There is a family room off the large kitchen with another overstuffed red chair, a blue couch with a large ottoman, kids games, and fun stuff!! The patio off the family room has a nice stainless Charmglow gas grill, a wrought iron patio set, a wrought iron glider rocker for two, and a round chaise lounge for two!! Down the hall is a walk-in closet full of ladies clothes, (Gap, Loft, and many other designer labels) In the bedroom at the end of the hall is LINENS, (comforters, blankets, King, Queen, & Twin sheet sets) throw pillows, and towels. There is also a table of fun Christmas decorations!!

The garage has moving Christmas reindeer, planters, a beautiful Antique 1904 Singer sewing machine in the cabinet, children's life jackets, patio chairs, lots of silk greenery, and a ton of baby clothes (sizes newborn to 2T, Carters, Polo, baby Gap, just to name a few), and toys!
