This is a part time position that requires less than 20 hours per week
What You'll Do
As the Claims Technician in the CCC you'll be the first phone contact with an insured and/claimant when a loss occurs. In addition you'll:
Record loss report infomation in our systems for all claims recieved in the Claim Contact Center (phoned, mailed, faxed, emailed), noting all pertinent infomation
Identify the policy involved in the loss and select the appropriate insurance line for the claim
What it Takes
Strong human relations and communication skills are essential
Previous customer service experience is a plus
PC skills are neccessary
Effective listening skills in addition to the ability to precisely and concisely summarize details are essential to obtain pertinent infomation form the insured and/or claimants
The ability and willingness to remain at your work station and follow a structured schedule are neccessary to meet customer call volume requirements
Previous insurance experience and/or coursework are beneficial
The ability to take claim reports in Spanish would be a plus in this position, however not mandatory
