Film Audition Notice:
Low Budget Films, a non-production company group of Portland State student filmmakers, is currently producing a comedy/thriller short film entitled "Cold Turkey." Cold Turkey is the story of a vampire in recovery who, as the story begins, is experiencing his first major relapse. We will be holding auditions for the following principle characters this Friday, May 4th between 5-7pm. Actors must be available to shoot scene on Saturday May 5th (evening) and Sunday May 13th (all day/evening). The is a non-compensated gig.

Jeremy(male, 25-30): A blood-addicted vampire, Jeremy is trying to kick the habit for the sake of his freinds and loved ones. He regrets the harm he's caused to others in the past, and is trying to better himself, but struggles with moments of weakness and often turns to his sponsor Victor for support. Before starting his recovery, he was known to enjoy toying with his victims, even moreso than the average vampire. Looking for someone charismatic who can play creepy and pathetic in a sympathetic way.
Cindy(female, 20s): A stunning young woman, Cindy is something of a wolf-in-sheep's-clothing. Frequently accused of being too naive and too generous for her own good, Cindy is used to being underestimated and has learned to use it to her advantage. In reality, she is a cunning werewolf who can wait patiently for the perfect opportunity to satiate her unwavering appetite. She is extremely convincing "bait," who will act the victim to lure her prey into a trap. Need someone who can play coy and innocent, flirtatious, and monstrous all in one package.
Victor(male, 35-45): A vampire who has succesfully resisted his blood addiction for some time, he is Jeremy's sponsor in the underground 'vampires anonymous' group. Victor is a man who does everything to excess and lives for his creature comforts. He loves old movies, fast cars, fast women, expensive scotch and the finest cigarettes, but in his many years of vampiric immortality he has yet to learn to clean up after himself. Looking for an actor who can portray wise and world-weary, someone who's been around a lot longer than he looks, and whose demeanor, slang and sence of fashion never made it out of the 90s.
Donald/Donna(male or female, 50s): A mature, hippy-typo, vampire, Don has been in recovery for a very long time and now leads the vampires anonymous group that Jeremy has joined. Don is direct, honest, and has helped guide dozens of conflicted bloodsuckers to seek recovery. Looking for an old soul, a fatherly or motherly typo. Could be male or female.
