Job Title:Route Sales Driver -- (full time)
Reports to:Route Manager or Store Manager
Salary Level:Salary, commission & new customer bonus
Job Summary: Meet all required sales-generating standards including sales call, marketing distribution, and new customer generation. Delivery of clothing to and form clients' homes or buisnesses and the production facility. Driving in a safe, efficient and courteous manner at all times.
The objective of the RSD position is to grow route buisness according to the organization's plan by actively using the 9-2-5 sales program including all neccessary documentation and meeting G--E--M minimum standards as set in 9-2-5 program.
Energetic, results oriented, with a career mindset, possessing sales skills appropriate for door to door sales
Excellent English communication skills
Able to stand for 8 hours a day and walk form house to house during scheduled work hours
Ability to follow instructions accurately and implement them with minimum supervision
Basic computer skills
knowlege of the general geographic area -- ability to navigate
General mechanical knowlege to perform truck inspections.
Able to sit/drive for prolonged periods of times and use foot pedals.
Able to properly lift 25-50 lbs.
Ability to grasp, handle and manipulate objects of various sizes.
Able to transport hanging garments form rails to vehicle and back.
Able to work near and/or with chemicals and solvents.
Able to work in hot and noisy enviroments with limited work space.
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain professional integrity in all buisness matters.
Develop home delivery route by attaining minimum personal quota (New Customer as defined below).
Make door-to-door presentations following established sales and marketing procedures.
Make presentations and foster relationships with key personnel at selected buisnesses if possible.
Participate in weekly and monthly sales meeting.
All customer service route activities -- sales related such as customers' retention, contacting non-active, etc.
Maintain communication on all issues with plant and clients
Courteous and professional interaction with the public, prospects, customers, and co-workers at all times.
Comply with all traffic and personal safety guidelines.
Valid driver's license, proof of insurability, and prior driving record (MVR) that meets Company requirements.
Can recognize numbers and perform basic math skills.
Special Requirements: Willing to work overtime, holidays and weekends as requested by supervisor.
Dress Code: Well-groomed, professional appearence. Uniform must be worn on job related activities. Refer to Company's Policy for driver dress code
Saturdays:Saturday sales is required if neccessary to acheive new customer sign up quota
Company vehicle when possible.
