The operations manager runs the day-to-day operations of E-3 Systems and reports to E-3's General Manager. The operations manager's overriding responsibility is to find ways to make E-3 Systems more productive by providing effective methods in its field operations. The operations manager; prepares, monitors and controls operational or project budgets, facilitates several projects around the company, controls company assets; tools and equipment, for field operations, inventory, handles lojistics and interviews, hires and supervises field employees. A strong leadership background and knowlege and experience in how to handle operational problems quickly and efficiently, in addition to great communication skills, are required to be succesful in this position.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
1.Work enviroment - Provide a work enviroment that engenders positive energy, creativity and teamwork among employees.
2.Coordination and Supervision - Coordinate, manage and monitor the field operations or project execution for E-3 Systems.
3.Financial - Review financial statements and data. Utilize financial data to improve profitability. Prepare and control operational budgets. Control inventory. Plan effective strategies for the financial well being of the company.
4.Best Practices - Improve processes and policies in support of organizational goals. Formulate and implement operational and organizational policies and procedures to maximize output. Monitor adherence to rules, regulations and procedures.
5.Human Resources - Plan the use of human resources for E-3 Systems' field operations. Organize recruitment and placement of required operational staff. Establish field organizational structures. Delegate tasks and accountabilities. Establish work schedules. Supervise field staff. Monitor and evaluate performance of field staff.
6.Production - Coordinate and monitor all production or project execution and warehousing for E-3 Systems. Monitor performance and implement improvements. Ensure the highest achievable standard of quality for all work performed by E-3 Systems. Manage quality and quantity of employee productivity. Manage the use and maintenance of the company's operational or production tools, equipment and machinery. Provide technical support whereever and whenever neccessary.
7.Sales, Marketing and Customer Service -- Manage after-sale customer interface, coordination and support with assistance form buisness Development as needed. Provide primary sales and marketing activities support to buisness Development in the maintenance of E-3 Systems' existing customer base.
8.Strategic Input - Liaison with top management. Assist in the development of strategic plans for operational activity. Implement and manage operational plans.
