AIM Aerospace, Inc, Renton location currently has 2 Mfg Engineer positions available: 1 Entry Level and 1 Mid Level
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Plans, directs, and coordinates manufacturing processes in industrial plant. This job may require position to act as a Lead on some projects and guide lower level engineers and technicians
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods.
Analyzes and plans work force utilization, space requirements, and workflow, and designs layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.
Confers with planning and design staff concerning product design and tooling to ensure efficient production methods.
Confers with vendors to determine product specifications and arrange for purchase of equipment, materials, or parts, and evaluates products according to specifications and quality standards.
Estimates production times, staffing requirements, and related costs to provide infomation for management descisions.
Confers with management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes.
Applies statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential.

COMPUTER SKILLS:
To perform this job succesfully, an individual should have knowlege of Microsoft Office, SCS and CAD Software; Solidworks, Autodesk Inventor.
EDUCATION
Engineering degree, up to 3 years experience or a Master's Degree and 1+ year(s) experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
