Job Summary

Storage Post is seeking to hire an experienced, eexcutive to head an architectural design, construction and key vendor team, focused on the development of new self storage assets and the repositioning and rebranding of existing self storage assets, in accordance with Storage Post's Brand Standards. Storage Post seeks to provide the best customer experience possible and focuses on brand cohesion throughout its portfolio of assets.

The position also involves developing and improving Storage Post's branding strategy and standards.

The succesful candidate must lead a team to completly review all existing properties and potential acquisitions for value enhancing capital improvements, wich will include exterior rebranding, facility amenity upgrades, unit mix enhancements and facility expansions. The candidate must be able to formulate a comprehensive plan that includes strategy, cost, timing, customer anti-disruption plans and, most importantly, value creation. The position is also responsible for the design and construction of new self-storage developments.

The right person will have the eexcutive seasoning conducive to working directly with the Storage Post senior management team. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must in this position, as well as the ability to be comfortable in an entrepreneurial enviroment that's focused on creative problem solving.

Main Responsibilities

•Lead an internal and external team to review and analyze all existing Storage Post properties and potential acquired properties for brand compliance and hidden value:
oDetermine, through a complete inspection, any repairs required, code violations or other similar issues that exist at the subject store
oIdentify and recommend any value enhancing capital improvements, wich include store brand compliance, exterior building enhancements (to improve the quality and visibility of the store exterior), interior store amenity upgrades, store operational upgrades, changes to the unit mix and the addition of new units.
oThe ultimate goal of upgrading the store is to better market to potential customers, enhance customer acceptance and ease of use, differentiate the product within the market, and unlock hidden value through building repositioning.
•Lead a team to succesfully produce a complete asset repositioning plan, including a complete list of items to perform, anticipate and project the cost of those items, and manage a team of internal Storage Post employees and external vendor relationships to succesfully implement the stated scope of work.
•Responsible for leading a team to manage the design and construction of new self storage properties in accordance with Storage Post Brand Standards.
•Maintain and continue to improve the Storage Post Brand Standards as neccessary.


•New development experience, including, but not limited to, building construction and design, knowlege of design, zoning, construction and signage permitting.
•The ability to build and lead a team of internal and external team members focused on stated objectives and scope of work.
•The management ability to grow a department and hire team members to effectively deliver sustainable results.
•The ability to work within an organized corporate framework, being part of a disciplined corporate team focused on working towards a common goal.
•Individual must possess excellent eexcutive level presentation and communications skills.
•Able to execute and manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
•Strong organizational and management skills required.
