Quality Assurance Specialist for Presentation Design Studio

This is a full-time graphic design and layout quality assurance position for a presentation design company. The responsibility of the Quality Assurance Specialist will be to ensure that all presentations have been reviewed for design consistency, content accuracy and project spec requirements. Although layout and design consistency is the primary focus, minor corrections of clients' spelling, grammar and punctuation are encouraged. The QA specialist will need to:
Review all projects for visual consistency in design and layout
Assess that project meets the original specifications agreed to with client
Communicate inconsistencies with designers and project managers to ensure corrections are made
Enforce QA compliance among the design staff
Master specific brand guidelines of key accounts
Manage multiple assignments effectively
Compensation:

Qualifications:
Experience
Four-year college degree
1 or more years experience performing Quality Assurance/Quality Control work at a creative agency or company, with a focus on design and layout review
Preference for experience in the fields of presentation services (PowerPoint, Keynote, Prezi), or other graphic design
Skills
familar with general visual layout conventions and consistency standards
An eye for the finer points of good, clean design
Able to identify design inconsistencies within a large presentation or multiple presentations
Very well organized with the ability to coordinate numerous projects at once
Excellent written and verbal skills
General knowlege of PC's, software, Web and related technologies
Personality
Highly motivated, proactive individual with a strong attention to detail
Self-sufficient and equally comfortable working independantly and in a team
Positive, upbeat attitude with outgoing, freindly personality
Interest in technology and graphic design
Ability to commute to and work in our Manhattan office
