JOB TITLE: Life Enrichment Coordinator (Activity Director)
RESPONSIBLE TO: Administrator
This person provides for an ongoing program of activities designed to meet, in accordance with the comprehensive assessment, the interest and the physical, mental, psychosocial well-being of each resident.
Education: Minimum education requirements include a high school diploma or its equivalent and satisfactory completion of a training course for activity directors approved by the Department of Heath and Human Services (DHHS).
License: Certification or licensure as appropriate for a activity professional
Experience: 2 yeas of experience in a social or recreational program.
Personal Skills and Traits Desired:
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability of coordinate and conduct meetings
Ability to set and acheive goals
Ability to be organized and efficient
Basic Computer Skills
