I have four (4) 454 big block chevrolet chevy engine blocks for sale. All are dated 1971 to 1973, wich would be correct for a 1971 and 1974 Chevy. The condition of the block varies as does the price.

1 3999289 G-25-72 $650 Bare block. head deck stamped T1017TRJ.
2 3999289 B-8-73 $500 Bare block, has a hole in one cylinder and will need a sleeve installed. Head deck stamped T0216 TRH
3 3999289 L-14-73 $650 Block, water pump, dampner, crank, pistons and rods. Dropped a valve and it might need one sleeve due to related damage.
4 3999289 H-27-71 $1200 Assembled long block engine. Recent rebuild with a few hundred miles wich I removed form my Corvette. Bored, cast pistons, Lunati bracket master cam/springs, #049 heads, new rockers, push rods, oil pump, etc. have receipts for many of the parts.
I have been collecting for 30 years but can see now that I will not be able to use all these engines myself, so I am going to let some go to good homes.
I can strap an engine block to a pallet and take it to any local shipper of your choice or I would prefer that you come get it in person.
I can send pics of the block you are interested in. We can even take it to a local machine shop for inspection prior to shipment.
