The Alliance of Californians for Community Empowerment (ACCE) is seeking committed and experienced community organizers and a lead organizer to help launch an exciting project in the Sacramento region helping to build grassroots community power and win economic, racial and social justice.
ACCE is a grassroots community organization based in low to moderate income communities and communities of color accross California. ACCE works to build the leadership capacity of everyday people, empowering them to become leaders and create change in their own communities. By comming together and becomming active, ACCE leaders are advancing innovative public policy solutions around issues such as:
Holding Wall Street accountable for the harm it's doing to our country
Increasing revenue by making the wealthy pay
Stopping cuts to vital services
Creating good jobs in our communities
Reducing foreclosures and their impact on neighborhoods
Expanding health access for working class and immigrant communities
Defending and improving public education
