Designed by Ray Green; Built by Sparkman and Stephens in 1959! Hull is 1 inch thick! This was one of the first production fiberglass day sailors available.
Fiberglass
Beam 8'
Draft with drop keel 84"
Draft with drop keel in up position 40"
All Rigging is Included, Mainsail and front Jib are in great condition.

Interior was cleaned, Sanded and painted 2part poly white.
Brand new cushions custom made for the side births and V Birth ($600)

Entire boat was striped, sanded, Primed using AWLGRIP 545. I have spent about 2 seasons just restoring her. mainly the outside. The hull and deck were horrible when i got her. I sanded everything down. took out the plexi windows, sanded sanded and sanded. Used 2 gallons of 5002 primer (Awlgrip) with sanding in between coats. then 3 coats of flag blue on the hull. Topside was the same.. this boat was up on the hard for years. when i saved her form being junked she was in the same spot. The Exterior is pretty with the colors. i always loved that yellow + blue.

She came factory with a Atomic 4 gasoline engine. That was pulled to make room for a Fridge/Freezer. Has 1 Head 1 Sink space for a top stove. TONS of storage. New navigation lights. Removed all SS tubing cleaned and waxed. Tiller and blade in great condition. New life-line cable. Heavy duty kicker plate that will accept a 20HP 2stroke or smaller 4 stroke.(see picture) The interior electric needs to be finished. all wires are ran and switch panel on hand but no time to do it.

My plan for the sailboat was to finish restoring it and sail the inland waterway. But i recently found i have severe health problems, I cannot be on the water for days on end in-case of a medical emergency. I cannot do any heavy lifting or strenuous activity. I spent 2 months and close to $3000 in paint/primer/parts and tons of work. But i cannot use it. Now i am trying to sell what i can

The boat is built like a WW2 tank. For its size it is extremely heavy and handles open water great. Any of the new horizon forums will say the same. there is NO rot, gelled fiberglass, holes, leaks, cracks, anywhere. Hull and topside were completly gone over.
