Deal fell through !!!! Available again !**REDUCED**You are looking at a 1983 Bill Parker - MIT engineer who invented the Plasma Globe in the late 70's. His creations were sold exclusively through art galleries, for $1200-$4000 new. This particular unit had a Gallery price of $2950 in 1983 !. This is a museum -quality, limited edition, numbered (unit is # 14 of 988) collector peice. Unit features a frequency slider, an amplitude (intensity) slider, a strobe slider (varies strobing or pulsating) and an auto-sweep button (changes appearence of image every 5 minutes). If you google "Bill Parker Plasma", you'll see his peices were engineered and assembled personally by him & his staff, built to last a lifetime, and currently on dispaly at MIT, museums, and various art galleries wordlwide. Mr. Parker still has an operating studio and repair facility in Vermont. I'm asking $625, or best reasonable offer.
