Vintage framed prints by artist Anne Allaben. Laid on board (label on back says "Processed on wood by Nustra"). Austrian children (Boy is named Adrian. Girl is named Katrina) dressed in culture attire. Both are framed in gold painted wooden frames (9 1/2" x 11 1/2"). Paper on back is ripped on both pictures. Age of prints unknown.
Lancasteronline.com states: Anne A. Farrell, 92, of quarryville, died Saturday, August 1, 2009 at Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community. She was the widow of James K. Farrell. Born in Roscoe, NY on October 3, 1916, she was a daughter of the late Charles M. and Fannie M. (Jackson) Allaben. Anne was best known for her portrait work with children. A portrait painter, she was previously employed by C. R. Gibson Co. and Gross Co. in NYC, where she was responsible for artwork and publishing a series of children's books.
