For sale is a Queen Anne style table I purchased at auction in August1982. I had a carpenter tell me it is cherry wood, but I don't know that for a fact.
This is one of those "crank" tables--there is a mechanism under the table so that you attach a crank (I don't have the crank) to the rod comming out of the table (see pic), crank the table open and insert a leaf (I don't have a leaf for it).
The table has very small casters under each leg, so it is easy to move.
I used a flashlight to try and get a better picture of the crank mechanism, where it comes out form under the table.
The table needs to be refurbished!!!!!!!!!! Still it is a beautiful peice of wood. Based on my past dealings with antiques, I would say it is form the turn of the 20th century, possibly late 1800's--my best guess.
Call for appt. to see the table. NO EMAILS. NO TEXT MESSAGES. Call 210-602-6208 and ask for J. J. If you get my voicemail, leave a message and I WILL call you back.
First come first served. Terms are cash and carry. If you come to see the table and want it, but don't have the means to move it, I will hold it for you ONLYif I am paid in full for it at that time. Thanks for looking at my listing
