Job Title: General Manager

Reports to:District Manager

In this position the, the General Manager presents the face and voice of Gold Buyers At The Mall at their retail location. This position will supply infomation regarding the company to the general public, and provide them with the best customer service possible. The following is what he/she will be responsible for on a day-to-day basis.

Job Description:
•Coordinates all store activities in a manner that maximized sales, profits and customer satisfaction.
•Staff and schedule their store according to staff plans and schedule, ensuring compliance of breaks and staffing buisness needs.
•Ensuring the store hits planned performance indicators, including: total buy dollars, buys/day, flyers/day, average price/dwt, average dollar/buy, and payroll hours.
•Managing the jewlry Inspection Form is completed on every buy and the 3 step testing process is adhered to by every employee on every buy.
•Ensure all law enforcement forms are in compliance, within completion and submission guidelines by governing state.
•Managing the store team in performing customer engagements by greeting and interacting with customers when not processing a buy.
•Managing all company assets through daily inspections of previous days buys, including verification of weight, re-testing the gold, and ensuring the price/dwt paid is within store range.
•Shipments are sent in per shipping schedule and procedures for shipments are followed per company shipping guidelines and productivity standards
•Implements safety and shrink best practices
•Maintains a high level of customer service by ensuring that service standards are high and that complaints form customers are quickly resolved.
•Provide human resources management, including but not limited to staffing plans, performance evaluations, training and development

Additional Responsibilities:
•Prepare all neccessary reports and paperwork as assigned.
•Maintain communications with Area/District Manager to stay abreast of company initiatives
•Perform other duties as assigned by Area Manager and/or District Manager

Qualifications:
•High school diploma is required, and/or 2-4 year related experience or equivalent.
•knowlege of retail operations, human resources, and shrink reduction plans, with attention to detail, and ability to take initiative.
•Demonstrate proficiency in supervising and motivating staff.
•Professional personal presentation and extremely customer service oriented.
•Must be reliable.
•Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
•Demonstrates accuracy, organization and thoroughness.
•Follows instructions, responds to management direction; Takes responsibility for own actions; Keeps commitments; Completes tasks on time or notifies appropriate person with an alternate plan.
•Possess excellent problem-solving, analytical and proactive skills.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and be able to effectively communicate with people at all levels and form various backgrounds.
•Ability to multi-task and handle a fast paced work enviroment
•Ability to self-manage, prioritize
