General Description:

As a Wireless Marketing Producer, you will work with assigned Major League Baseball Club personnel and internal Wireless, Marketing and Technical departments to optimize the overall performance of the Club official wireless presence. High-profile, fast-paced and challenging opportunity will allow you to make a significant contribution to the success of the MLB.com portal of Club wireless experience.

Minimum requirements:

-Bachelors Degree
-At least 3 years' working experience in Internet Production (Handwritten, semantic XHTML with supporting CSS, Photoshop, Illustrator, Microsoft Office)
-Understanding of the Internet and Wireless buisness -- e-commerce, marketing, sponsorship, subscription products
-Project management experience, specifically the ability to manage technical projects form conception to implementation
-Ability to create wireframes and complete product/project outlines bringing in feedback and content form multiple people/departments
-familarity with the major mobile platforms, including iOS, Android, BlackBerry and Windows Phone
-familarity with development for mobile enviroments (bandwidth, screen and power constaints, device fragmentation, app vs web, etc)
-familarity with social API's (i.e. Facebook Open Graph)
-Understanding of text platforms
-Detail-oriented, organized and excellent verbal and written communication skills
-familarity with the game of baseball
-Ability to multi-task and work under strict deadlines
-Ability to develop cordial, professional relationships with all level of Club and/or MLB staff
-Flexible schedule: available weekends and late nights throughout the year, as needed

Objectives/Roles:

-Acts as a liaison between Wireless department and Club Initiatives Marketing Producer group
-Optimizes overall performance for mobile initiatives on Club sites, including streamlining content to mobile freindly and/or WAP pages, text project and promotional opportunities
-Manages Club-specific feature/functionality development for the mobile enviroment including, but not limited to: promotions, subscription products and rejistration, Club.com Shop & Ticketing initiatives, sweepstakes and other marketing pages
-Coordinates design, editorial, and technical teams during new feature/functionality development projects; develops and manages schedule and project budget
-Creates directories and work areas within MLBAM CMS/Homepage for new projects as neccessary
-Serves as point person for MP group for tech/design troubleshooting in support of daily site QA for WAP club sites and
-Produces, proofs, tests and sends text message campaigns for club ticketing/marketing projects
-Works with Club Initiatives department to addresses marketing opportunities on club.com portal for wireless initiatives
-Recommend new features or functionality for club.com WAP/Mobile experience
-Fulfills other production responsibilities as assigned by Club Initiatives or Wireless project managers, or other appropriate department managers
-Provides sound feedback for new ideas/initiatives
