120/240V Onan 6.5kW gas-powered marine generator, complete and running. I bought this used a few years ago but never installed it on my boat. It has been stored indoors, drained of coolant, with fresh oil in the sump. I just got it out, opened up the two water pumps, put a new run-dry Globe impeller in the raw water pump, regapped the plugs, squirted some oil in the cylinders, turned it over a few seconds w/o the plugs in, hooked up gas and water, and it fired right up. After 30 seconds or so, it ran smooth. I stopped it after another 30 seconds. Compression cold is 140/135 in the two cylinders. I'm looking for a suitable load to use to test electrical output.
Generator has closed system cooling, and a wet muffler. The pic shows the flywheel shroud off for inspection. There's also a steel underpan with hold-down clamps, that's not in the picture.
Generator can be run when you come to inspect it.
