For sale or trade: a set of four BMW factory alloy wheels. They are sized 7Jx15H2 with a 20mm offset, 5x120mm bolt spacing, and a 72.56mm center bore. These came form a mid '90s 5 Series but should fit similar vintage 6's and 7's. They have 20 "D-shaped" holes on the perimeter and a metallic gray finish. I purchased them for a project that didn't work out, so now I just want to get my money back out of them. The BMW part number is 1179761, wich you should be able to look up on teh interwebs.
They are marked:
BMW e20 - 1179761 - 38 ACC 88 - 1 KBA - 7Jx15 H2
BMW e20 - 1179761 - 50 KBA-41352 88 - Lemmerz G - 7Jx15H2
BMW e20 - 1179761 - 21 FUNDO 88 - KBA: K3 - 7Jx15H2
BMW e20 - 1179761 - 50 ACC 88 - 1 KBA - 7JX15H2
Overall these are in very good to excellent used condition with a few light scratches and only a couple of dings on one rim. The finish on one pair is in better shape than on the other, but all four are perfectly usable as-is. I cleaned them with mild detergent and a scrub brush, but there are still bits of tar and stains here and there that should come clean with de-greaser and/or a power washer.
Also included are the four center caps that originally came on the wheels (a $50 value).
I've got these priced at $200 for everything, but I'd much rather trade for something I can use. What have you got to trade? I'm always looking for guns, tools, military surplus, survival/preparedness gear, and auto parts. Do you have a set of old Porsche "7-slot" or "phone dial" wheels with a bad case of curb rash?
Let me know. Serious inquiries only. Photos available upon request.
Thanks for looking.
