This is a Cress Model B-1411 pottery kiln. This unit is in good shape. I bought it for my wife who is a teacher with the thought that her students could sculpt clay and fire it as a fun project. She liked the idea but it realistically is too complicated for her students.
This kiln has internal dimensions of 14 inches tall by 11 inches wide(I think that is why it is model 1411). It runs on standard 110 Volts and draws 20 amps wich means you can use it almost anywhere. It is not near as heavy as most kilns. This is a very versitile unit that deserves to be used and enjoyed. I plugged it in this morning and it gets very hot in a short period of time. I'm sure over a long period it will get extremely hot. It also has the original stand as shown.
This would be a great way to fire your own sculpures and pottery in a convinent way at a cheap price.
First $225 takes it home.
