PLEASE NOTE: I have added a link to photobucket.com at the bottom of the page. It is a slideshow of multiple pictures of this trailer. PandaHi only allows a very few and they aren't enough to actually see what it looks like.
The Kenskill brand of trailers are one of the better built and more luxurious travel trailers of their era. They always had such beautiful wood work inside and the designs were very well thought out , making them roomy, comfy and cozy just like home. A feeling you just can't get in an ***stream.
For your consideration is this vintage 1960 Kenskill Model #23 (23' foot including the length of the tounge) travel trailer. It is a good trailer, very room inside and has loads of "retro potential". The upholstery has been redone at some point and was also repainted some time ago. The floor feels very solid, but it does need new floor covering; linoleum or carpet. The previous owner had started doing some refurbishing and just got so busy with work that he let it set for awhile and then decided to sell it. They had removed the old floor tiles, with the intention of doing something retro. Some walls had also been sanded in preparation for a nice coat of varnish. The water lines were also converted form the original copper lines to the newer style of pex rv water supply lines. Windows and screens are intact and windows operate smoothly. We have a clear title in hand and also have the keys. Please contact us for an appointment to see it in person. Trailer is located approximately 35 miles east of Stockton,CA.
This trailer is equipped with twin beds in center, could be converted to a large center bed if desired. There is a large amount of storage below the beds. There are large cabinets at the end of each bed. One of wich has a large, original pull out shelf for television viewing. In addition there are also overhead cabinets on each side over the beds. Original wall sconce lights at the head of each bed with easily accessed on/off switches. There is a 12 volt light on the ceiling overhead. In addition there is an original ceiling vent fan combination in working condition. Windows above the beds on both sides of the trailer.
Full bath at rear with original yellow porcelain toilet and matching yellow sink and full stand up shower. Bathroom has a cabinet over the sink with sliding mirrored doors. Large wardrobe closet with shelf above. Also has a sliding pocket door for privacy with large full length mirror. Small window above the toilet. Black/gray water holding tank, wich does not leak.
Original 4 burner wedgewood propane stove and oven. This model is quite rare, as the oven door does not pull down to open, but opens to the side like a cabinet door. Very rare style. Original Norcold electric/propane refrigerator. It does get nice and cold. These older fridge models must be perfectly level to operate. Easily checked by placing a circular bubble level inside the fridge cabinet. Has a newer propane powered hot water heater wich warms up quickly. There is also an original propane powered wall heater that looks rarely used. Original yellow double sink. Plenty of cupboard / drawer space above and below the counter top , above the fridge and also above the eating area. Original table wich expands to an extra long table with two leaf extensions. The counter top and table top are in very nice original condition. Original wall sconce lights in the front seating area, one on either side . Also has a 12 volt light on the ceiling in the center kitchen area. 2 bulb light above the countertop wich is mounted under the overhead cabinets.
The seating/dining area is original construction but has been reupholstered at some point. The two booth seats open up for storage underneath. There is also a roll around ottoman wich can be used for extra seating. It is also used when letting the booth seats down for additional sleeping quarters, as it rests between the two seats, i.e. in the middle.
