This is an original 383 4bbl console 4spd car, less then 2,900 built. Fender tag in place and this car will make a great solid foundation for a resto as it does not need any of the floorpans replaced front to back! Frame rails are also solid with the exception of the last 6 inches of the torsion bar crossmember on the passenger side.Original engine and trans are gone, but comes with a `68 standard bore 383 that is disassembled, but would make an excellent builder. Has filler in the lower quarters and fenders but I don't think any panel replacement will be necessary, just some patches. Fender tag says original silver, hand rubbed paint with red horizontal accent stripe and red interior. Car is not complete but very worthy of a resto. Missing the console but all of the door panels are nice as is the headliner/ visors. Has tail light buckets but no lenses or trim and also no rear bumper. Has some grille parts, not all and includes a decent front bumper. Car was used as a race car for a time and there is a hole in the hood and used to have a scoop. Comes w/inst cluster and good seats but no tracks. No build sheet but upon visual inspection this car was ordered without power steering or brakes and no a.c.. All glass is in and in great shape with minimal fogging along the cowl. I do have a freshly rebuilt `69 4spd with a bellhousing that would go nicely for extra $. Plenty of pics available.
This classic Mopar rolls easily and has an 8.75 rear axle with likely non original limited slip center section and complete original front end parts including swaybar.
