This mower is in GREAT CONDITION. It starts, runs, and cuts like new. I am getting out of the business because I am taking a new job in Knoxville, TN., and will be selling most, if not all, of my equipment. I let a friend borrow this mower at the beginning of last summer, and there was an oil leak around the oil filter. He did not check the oil while he was using it, and let the oil run out of the engine. Ultimately, this ruined the original engine. At this time, the mower had 272 hrs on it (not a lot for a 2003 model). I ended up having to order a brand new engine from Kohler (Cost me $1700), and replaced the damaged engine with a brand new one. While I was waiting for the new engine to come in, and while I had to damaged one out, I decided to replace at few items. It probably didnt need it, but I decided to do it since I was already working on it, and had the old engine out. I replaced several pulleys and bearings, put in a new battery, put in new belts, changed all fluids (hydrolic drive fluid and drivecase fluid) and put in a new blower. All of these parts cost me atleast $700. These new parts were put on when the mower had 272 hrs on it, so they currently have 88 hrs on them. These parts and the new engine were installed last summer, and all have 88 hrs on them. The rest of the mower has 360 hrs on it. (272 hrs prior to new engine, 88 hrs since new engine,=360 total mower hours. I also replaced the digital hour meter when I put the new engine on it so it would be easy to keep up with maintenance intervals on the new engine. This mower has been taken very good care of, and has been meticulously maintained by myself. I have changed all fluids, filters, and greased fittings at Walker's recommened service intervals. There are a lot of walker mowers out there for sale that are pushing 1000 hrs, or are well over 1000 hrs. These mowers last a long time if you take care of them, but with this one, you can rest assured that there is alot of life left in this engine with only 88 hrs on it. Come take a look at this mower, drive it around, and you will see how well it runs and that it is a great mower.
Please email me by using the link above, or call me at 205.233.3325 if you have any questions, or would like to come see it.
I also have some other equipment that I am selling. I have a newer 7x16 foot tandem axel ENCLOSED trailer (not available untill after I move / 1st of 2nd week of April). I have a 6 month old Stihl BR600 backpack blower, a Stihl BR340 backpack blower, Stihl Pro-Series Weedeaters and edgers, some other hand tools, a very large wheel barrow w/2 huge front wheels., and a few other things. If you are just interested in the mower, thats great, but if you are looking to start or expand a new business, I have the setup that you need.
